Constructed from Class VI Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) monolayer copolymer film, these gravity bags are designed for parenteral applications and offer strong seals, exceptional durability, flexibility, and resistance to cracking and pinholes. Each bag includes an attached non-reopening clamp, providing secure closure during fluid delivery and helping prevent leakage or accidental opening. Vented spikes are designed to support complete fluid administration from IV bags with no air headspace, reducing the risk of incomplete drainage or negative pressure when used with gravity or infusion pumps.

Storage guidelines: 

EVA bags should be stored at temperatures below 40°C and kept away from sunlight, excessive heat, and humidity to maintain product quality.

According to Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice, DEHP-free administration sets should be used for lipid-based infusions (e.g., IVFE or TNA), as DEHP is toxic and can leach into lipid solutions—posing added risks for neonatal, pediatric, and long-term home care patients.
