Made from Class VI Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) monolayer copolymer film, designed for parenteral applications with strong seals, superior flexibility, and resistance to cracks and pinholes. Includes an attached non-reopening clamp for secure and safe fluid delivery.

Vented spikes enhance performance when used with IV bags that have no air headspace, helping to ensure complete fluid delivery and prevent negative pressure during gravity or pump-based infusions.

Storage recommendation: 

Store below 40°C, and protect from sunlight, excessive heat, and humidity to preserve the quality of the EVA material.

DEHP advisory: 

As per Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice, use DEHP-free administration sets for lipid-based infusions (e.g., IVFE, TNA), as DEHP is toxic and can leach into lipid solutions—posing a risk especially to neonatal, pediatric, and long-term care patients.
