Integra # PM-0346 Alginate Wound Dressing is a highly absorbent dressing made from calcium alginate fibers derived from seaweed. Each dressing measures 4" x 6" and is ideal for moderate to heavily exuding wounds. The alginate material turns into a gel when in contact with wound exudate, creating a moist environment that promotes healing. This dressing helps to maintain a balanced level of moisture in the wound bed, reducing the risk of maceration and promoting faster healing. Each box contains 10 individually wrapped dressings. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This product is FDA approved and suitable for use on diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, and surgical wounds.
